Before you head out
PriceDoes it cost anything?
Stay on the Line, Murder in the Dark and Snooze Bandit are free. Party Pack 01 has 10 more party games, bought once by the host, and everyone they invite plays free. The at-home cases are A$5 at launch until 31 March 2027, then A$8, and the town hunts will be $10 when they open in 2027. Every game shows its price on its card before you start, so there are no surprises halfway.
GameplayCan I give a game as a present?
Stay on the Line and our party games are free, so just send the link. Gift cards in $10, $25 and $50 are coming with our paid games: they spend on any game and never expire.
GameplayWill my phone work?
Almost certainly. The games run in your phone's web browser, and when a sensor is missing or blocked, the game swaps in another way to solve that stop. Test your phone in two minutes to see how each game plays on it.
SetupDo I need to download an app?
No. The game runs in your phone's web browser. Open the link, pick a name and start.
GameplayCan I play on my own?
Yes. Every puzzle can be solved by one person, and solo players have their own scoreboard.
GameplayWhat if we need to stop halfway?
Your progress is saved, so you can stop at any stop and pick it up another day. Add an email if you want to carry it to another phone.
PrivacyIs my location tracked?
Only while you play. Your phone uses your location to check you in at each stop and show you on the map. We keep which stops you solved and when, with your score and finish time, and never your route or where you were.
PriceDo I have to buy anything at a stop?
No. No stop will ever ask you to buy something to keep playing.
GameplayWhat about games played by car?
The clock never runs while you drive, every stop has easy parking, and puzzles are made for a passenger or a parked driver.
LaunchWhen do the games launch?
One at a time. Open any case file and add your email to hear the day it goes live.
BoardsIs there a leaderboard?
Every game has its own leaderboard, and an overall board ranks hunters across every game and town. See the leaderboards.
AccountDo I need an account?
Not to start. Every game lets you play as a guest first. A free player account keeps your progress, your games and your place on the boards. About accounts.
AccountCan my child play without an account?
Yes. In a team room they can join as a guest, with a fun name and nothing saved. Players under 18 play with a parent or guardian, who ticks the safety box for them.
